Our team is proud of the large number of extremely difficult cases that were rejected by many other centers, but afterwards found success in our clinic.
Our motto is "as long as there is one egg and one sperm, there is a chance of pregnancy!"sve dok postoji jedna jajna ćelija i jedan spermatozoid, postoji šansa za trudnoću!”

Failed embryo implantation

We can talk about failed embryo implantation if a transfer was made with two blastocysts, and if the same procedure was repeated, but the pregnancy did not occur.

What is the medical reason for the failed embryo implantation?

There are many reasons why implantation does not occur: various uterine abnormalities, hormonal or metabolic disorders, or immune factors, such as thrombophilia.

How often does the failed embryo implantation happen?

Over 5% of women involved in the treatment of medically assisted fertilization have problems with embryo implantation, although excellent quality embryos have been returned.

How will I know that implantation was not successful?

The first sign is a negative pregnancy test. In certain cases, a biochemical pregnancy occurs, where the pregnancy test is positive and there is no gestational sac inside the uterus, which means that it has not developed.

What are my medical alternatives?

Today, there are many surgical procedures to examine uterine abnormalities. Also, the inclusion of certain immunotherapy and preimplantation genetic testing are one of the ways of treatment.

Recurrent miscarriages

Recurrent miscarriage is a diagnosis that is made when two or more miscarriages occur before 24th week of pregnancy.

What are the medical conditions that can lead to miscarriage?

Antiphospholipid syndrome or the presence of congenital abnormalities within the uterus (e.g. septum), leads to loss of pregnancy.

Are there diagnostic tests that can detect the causes of recurrent miscarriages?

In order to help you discover the cause of lost pregnancies, in addition to a detailed anamnesis and examination of your medical history, it is extremely important to do a chromosomal analysis.

Motherhood in women over 40 years

Given the socio-economic environment, an increasing number of women are deciding to postpone motherhood. Lately, we have a large number of women who have entered the fourth decade of their lives, and only then are they planning to fulfill themselves in the role of a mother. Medical indicators are such that pregnancy is recommended earlier, but statistics have shown that it is very possible to get pregnant in the 40's.

How does age affect the possibility of conception?

From the age of 30 onwards, the possibility of conception slowly slows down. Egg quality is gradually lost. At 45+, most women, naturally, completely lose the ability to conceive naturally.

How age affects the quality of female eggs?

Every woman, when she is born, has a number of cells that, as she ages, is lost and declined over time, and their quality becomes weaker over time.

If I am over 40 and pregnant, what are the medical risks?

Possible risks in pregnant women over the age of 40 are premature birth, development of hypertension and, unfortunately, cessation of development leading to miscarriage.

However, our team strives to eliminate all factors that can lead to pregnancy loss, and to give all needed support for women who want to become mothers in theirs 40s.

Poor ovarian response to stimulation

The term "poor response to therapy" has been used for patients who do not respond well to gonadotropic stimulation. One of the most common solutions is the so-called "collection" of eggs from multiple periods of stimulation in order to obtain a larger number of embryos that would return to the uterus and to lead to pregnancy.

Can I get pregnant even though my ovaries respond very poorly to therapy?

Following the latest protocols in the world in the treatment of infertility, there are two ways for such patients to become pregnant:

  • Primjena dugog protokola
  • Collection of oocytes (multi END OPU), multiple stimulations.

What are the causes of poor ovarian response to stimulation?

There are several reasons for this problem, which may include problems with reduced ovarian reserve (endometriosis, ovarian surgery, exposure to various toxins or chemo / radiotherapy or lifestyle). In some women, it may be genetically determined. In most cases, it is a combination of hereditary and external factors.

Poor sperm-test results

Unfortunately, this finding gives little chance of natural pregnancy, and such patients are suggested the ICSI method, as a form of medically assisted fertilization.

What is crucial is to find sperm that are morphologically normal, and which signal that the DNA molecule inside them is normal and without large mutations. Morphologically normal sperm has the highest chance of fertilization, normal embryo development and the birth of a healthy baby.

With an extremely reduced number of sperm in the ejaculate (if after processing we find several or no sperm) we have the opportunity to collect more sperm samples and cryopreserve them, so that during the ICSI procedure we have the highest quality and best selection of sperm.
